The KWI QRS Float is the ultimate solution for resolving the factory alignment flaws in your Can-Am X3 CVT system. If you’ve experienced hard shifting, a secondary clutch that spins at idle, or constant belt failures, chances are your clutch system is misaligned. This misalignment causes the belt to ride unevenly on the sheaves, leading to excessive heat, premature belt wear, and reduced performance.
Our QRS Float Mod addresses this by machining the secondary clutch to allow it to “float” on the shaft—letting it self-align with the primary during operation. This corrects misalignment under all load conditions, resulting in better power transfer, smoother shifting, and drastically improved belt life.
