The WSRD Silicone Charge Tube was designed with performance, and reliability in mind. With an OEM like fitment from your throttle body to intercooler the end user can install with ease. Our new design "bypasses" the factory throttle body/map sensor adapter piece, which has been known to fail in competition and every day riding, and replaces this with a complete free flowing charge tube from mounting point to mounting point. The map sensor adapter is now billet, and is located in the charge tube between the throttle body and BOV. We have also related the BOV position to a more proper motorsports minded location nearest the throttle body.
Please note, this charge tube incorporates a 38mm BOV port, specific to the WSRD x Turbosmart BOV, and may not be compatible with all available BOVs on the market.
During testing, both utilizing our charge tube, and comparing to other aftermarket vendor charge tubes, we found that the aftermarket upper charge tube, because of redesigned volume, netted a decrease in engine performance. With that said, this charge tube is sold individually, retaining your factory upper, and is also available with and without an upper charge tube option for those 120HP Model guys needing a complete charge tube kit.
