    "Custom Ordered" Pistons

    When ordering the high compression 10.5:1, STD Bore - 74mm piston option please anticipate a 3 to 4 week lead time on piston manufacturing. These bore sizes are not a stocking item at WSRD.

    WSRD is happy to offer everything you'll need to service/upgrade your Can-Am X3 engine. The older model engines have seen a variety of piston ringland failures. As some inspection is required after a failure of the type, this DIY Engine Rebuild Kit allows the end user to seamlessly tear down their factory short block, and reassemble with everything needed to do so.

      - Custom Bore Sizes and Compression Ratios are available

    • (6) BRP OEM Connecting Rod Bearings

    • (4) BRP OEM Upper Main Bearings
    • (4) BRP OEM Lower Main Bearings
    • (2) BRP OEM Crankshaft Thrust Washers
    • (8) BRP OEM Main Bolts
    • (1) WSRD Stator Cover Gasket
    • (1) WSRD Oil Fill Side Cover Gasket
    • (1) WSRD Oil Pan/Sump Gasket
    • (1) BRP OEM PTO Bearing Cover Gasket

    Connecting Rod Bolt Torque Specs

    Connecting Rod Bolt Torque Specs

    Per the BRP Service Manual please follow the torque sequence for tightening your connecting rod bolts.

    Step A: 106in/lbs +/- 18in/lbs
    Step B: 70 degrees +/- 5 degrees

    Main Bolt Torque Specs

    Main Bolt Torque Specs

    Per the BRP Service Manual please follow the order sequence for tightening your main bolts.

    Step A: 15ft/lbs +/- 1ft/lbs
    Step B: 150 degrees +/- 5 degrees

    Oil Sump Bolt Torque Specs

    Oil Sump Bolt Torque Specs

    Per the BRP Service Manual please follow the order sequence for tightening your oil sump cover bolts when replacing the oil sump cover gasket.

    Step A: 44in/lbs +/- 5in/lbs (Start at #1)
    Step B: 80in/lbs +/- 9in/lbs (Follow numbered sequence)

    Oil Fill Cover Bolt Torque Specs

    Oil Fill Cover Bolt Torque Specs

    Per the BRP Service Manual please follow the order sequence for tightening your oil fill side cover bolts when replacing the oil fill side cover gasket.

    Step A: 44in/lbs +/- 5in/lbs (Start at #4, #12, and #17 and continue clockwise)
    Step B: 80in/lbs +/- 9in/lbs (Start at #1 and continue clockwise)

    PTO Cover Bolt Torque Specs

    Per the BRP Service Manual please follow the order sequence for tightening your PTO cover bolts when replacing the PTO cover gasket.

    Step A: 17ft/lbs +/- 2ft/lbs

    Per the BRP Service Manual please follow the order sequence for tightening your stator cover bolts when replacing the stator cover gasket.

    Step A: 80in/lbs +/- 9in/lbs
